Arlo grew up surrounded by dancers and musicians, all of whom were
significant influences on his musical career. Arlo Guthrie's career
exploded in 1967 with the release of Alice's Restaurant, whose title
song was a hilarious account of actual events that took place in

AAMVC Update
Yet another patriotic business in our community, the Walker Real
Estate Team, has advised our Association that, for every closing
in 2015, ten dollars will be contributed toward AAMVC's Wreaths
Across America
event here.
And youth is on the bandwagon as well. The Interact Clubs at Waynesville
Middle School and Waynesville High School have named the Veterans
Cemetery as a beneficiary of their Race for the Ribbons in April.
We live in a wonderfully generous and patriotic community.
The AAMVC Board will meet Friday, March 20th, at 12 noon in the
Conference Room of the Cemetery's Administration building. As always,
all interested persons are invited to attend.
