Marianne Ward

Marianne Ward of Waynesville, Mo., has served as the director of communications and marketing for the Waynesville R-VI School District since 2012. In this role, she promotes the district through news releases, photos, websites, recruiting materials, newsletters, major events, fund-raising and radio spots. She enjoyed a 21-year career at Missouri University of Science and Technology, retiring as the director of alumni and constituent relations at Missouri S&T and executive vice president of the Miner Alumni Association. Ward earned a bachelor’s in communication from Truman State University and is pursuing a master’s in communication at the University of Central Missouri. She actively participates in Chamber events and is a member of the Rotary Club of Pulaski County, where she served as president in 2016. Ward joys gardening, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband Steve and their daughter Jessica.
