The Chamber Surprise Patrol Team shows up on the 1st day of the month at two randomly selected member businesses (one in St. Robert and one in Waynesville). The sign will be proudly displayed throughout the month at their business. This is a way for the Chamber to highlight our members and surprise them with a visit. We also include a business from our surrounding area to showcase virtually.

Founded by Dr. Ben Werner, a board-certified pediatric dentist and former U.S. Army Major, Little Acorn Dentistry is setting a new standard for children’s dental care. A board-certified pediatric dentist completes additional, rigorous hospital-based training, including work in children’s hospitals. This specialized training prepares them to manage complex cases, special needs, and medically involved patients, distinguishing them from general dentists who treat children.
Little Acorn Dentistry for Kids prioritizes making young patients comfortable and happy by leading with empathy, patience, and a little fun along the way. They routinely cares for children with a wide range of needs, including wheelchair users, patients using BiPAP/CPAP, nonverbal autistic children, and those with cerebral palsy. They also see children described as “biters, hitters, screamers, scratchers,” taking time to communicate, de-escalate, and build trust. Outcomes often exceed expectations when kids are approached with empathy and understanding. They aim to change how children experience dental care, noting kids have historically lacked access to holistic, respectful treatment. Their goal is to positively shape children’s lives by reshaping their experiences and expectations.
