The Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce held their Annual
Membership Meeting in conjunction with the August Luncheon on August
21st at Waypoint United Methodist Church in Waynesville. The luncheon
was sponsored by the Pulaski County Weekly and lunch was catered
by Route 66 Taco and Wing Company.
During the meeting Chamber President, Rosalind Pride,
Director at the Freewomen's Center, recognized this year's board
members; Brett Reith, Pastor at Waypoint United Methodist Church,
as Board Vice-President, Marianne Ward with the Waynesville R-VI
School District as Board Treasurer, Jake Meizler with The Maries
County Bank, C.D. Storie with Storie Family Farms, Tracy O'Quinn
with O'Quinn Marketing, Kelly Brownfield with the USO of Missouri,
Carrie Williamson with Smith & Turley, Michelle Beckley with
Fort Wood Hotels, and Deborah Decker with the Pulaski County Health
Center. The Chamber Ambassadors were also recognized for all their
hard work.
Rosalind then revealed this year's theme, "Strengthening
Community Relationships that Drive Local Businesses."
The following awards were presented at the meeting;
The 2024 Rookie of the Year award went to HFL Networking and Consulting.
The 2024 Chamber Supporter of the Year award was presented to Delphi
Brands/Hermit's Delight. Chantel Higdon was recognized as our Refer
and Earn winner, referring two new members to the Chamber. Russ
Dixon was recognized with the Ambassador and Goodwill Spirit Award.
Cecilia Murray, Executive Director of the Chamber, was also recognized
with her 20 years of service pin, in which she will celebrate September
8th.
Lastly, the Chamber recognized our top ten contributors for their
support during the 2023-2024 Chamber year. The Top 10 Contributors
are determined by sponsorships and/or donations made to Chamber
events. They are Amazon Hub; City of St. Robert; City of Waynesville;
Delphi Brands/Hermit's Delight; Laclede Electric Cooperative; Phelps
Health; Pulaski County Health Center; Security Bank of Pulaski County;
Waynesville R-VI School District; Waypoint United Methodist Church.
The Waynesville - St. Robert Chamber of Commerce is
a voluntary organization of citizens who are investing their time
and money in a community development program, working together to
improve the economic, civic, and cultural wellbeing of the area.
The Chamber is committed to advancing the commercial, industrial,
agricultural, educational, civic, and community interests of the
residents and businesses in the cities of Waynesville and St. Robert
and the surrounding area.
