The Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber held the 8th Annual Frog Race in conjunction with Frogtober Fest in Waynesville Park on October 1, 2016.

This year 142 frogs were adopted. The Chamber raised over $1,700.00 to continue their community service projects.

Winners: First place, winning $75.00 was Jennifer Votion and family with the frog named "Hoppity", Second place, winning $50.00, was Carol Patton's "Toady". Third place, winning $25.00, was Ursula Chmura Lebioda and family with the frog named "Happy Hoppers 1". Cash prizes were donated by The Maries County Bank and the Frog Race sponsor was Sonic Drive - In.
